  • 2017: Temple Beth Tzedek merges with Congregation B'nai Shalom.
  • 2011: Temple Beth Tzedek absorbs much of the assets of Temple Beth Israel of Niagara Falls.
  • 2008 (June): Temple Beth Tzedek is formed by a merger of Temple Beth El of Greater Buffalo and Temple Shaarey Zedek.
  • 1968: Temple Shaarey Zedek is formed by a merger of Temple Emanuel and Temple Beth David Ner Israel; both of  these synagogues had their origins in Buffalo in the 1930s.
